Long time no see for singer-songwriter Laura Groves who after a period of relative silence and only short-form releases unleashes her full-length debut album under her own name. You may also know her as Blue Roses but she goes it completely alone here on an album inspired by two radio towers that hovered over her recording studio. As she's from Shipley I'm assuming these could be the Idle Hill masts which sit on a hill above the town, silent and permanent whilst the world goes mad beneath.
